AGES
-
This program is tailored to riders aged 9-11.
- Riders must be at a minimum of Level 2 on our Youth Skill Level Guide.
PROGRAM DETAILS
-
Over the course of four sessions, each spanning 2.5 hours, riders will explore local bike parks and develop the art of pumping rolls for speed, catching a bit of air and nailing berm corners. Our small-group format ensures personalized attention and ample opportunity for skill refinement.
-
Participants gain access to an immersive learning experience that combines structured skill-building exercises at a variety of different parks. This is a great way to become acquainted with the parks Calgary has to offer, how to ride them safely, and how to have fun!
Here's what we want your child to take away from the program:
- How to ride local bike parks effectively by carrying a bit of speed and choosing the right lines.
- Learning to pump rollers teaches the skills necessary for jumping! For those confident enough, riders will learn how to take air off of small rollers.
- Riders will be introduced to bike park etiquette and how to remain safe when the parks are busy.
PREREQUISITES
- Participants must have a well tuned and properly fitting bike. Dirt oriented tires are necessary.
